Company or Business: D.B Grant Associates
Business Needs
D.B. Grant Associates a workforce development company obtains multiple workflow development contracts with New York City, Michigan, and other tri-state areas nationwide. Due to this rapid growth Grant Associates needed a way to scale and streamline the services provided to their clients as they continue to obtain new contracts. Unfortunately, each location operated individually, and resources to provide services to their workforce development client were very limited. The organization also wanted to improve employee collaboration across their location to streamline best practices to improve their business.

Wide Area Network and Voice over IP Implementation

We implemented a secure Wide Area Network replicated across 10 offices in New York, Michigan, and New Jersey that allows remote staff to seamlessly access shared resources such as enterprise printing, wireless networks, shared files and data, and QuickBooks enterprise hosted on a VMware Horizon environment.

As part of our initiative to scale services and reduce costs, we migrated all analog phones to Mega Path, a cloud VOIP Service Provider across all offices.

Implementing Grant Associates Wide Area Network and new VOIP services allow remote staff to seamlessly access shared resources such as enterprise printing, wireless network services, shared files and data, and QuickBooks enterprise hosted on a VMware Horizon environment. This improved employee collaboration across Grant Associates NY, Michigan, and NJ offices, expanded their workforce development and recruitment services, centralized resources, and reduced long-term costs by adopting Voice over IP for their call services. This allows them to increase job placements and provide HRA services.

Computer Lab Buildout

As part of Grant Associates’ self-service offering for resume writing, virtual pieces of training, and other professional development services, we build computer labs across our Grant Associates office in the NY, MI, and NJ offices for their workforce development and HRA customers.
Outcome or Value
These labs allow customers and clients to take professional development courses and training to prepare them for job placements by Grant Associates.
Company or Business: Chevelas NYC
Business Needs
Chevelas a NYC Mexican restaurant wanted a way to easily manage their orders and provide additional payment methods for their customers as their menu options increased. Chevalas also opened a new bar/lounge that allows non-dine-in customer to experience their drink and snack options with various choices of entertainment for their customers.

NCR Point of Sale System Implementation
Protech collaborated with Chevalas to implement and train their staff to adopt a new cloud-based Point of Sale system, NCR that allows Chevelas to serve their customers through digital orders for their restaurant and new bar/lounge at a separate location. These transactions were completed from their POS stations and handled via the wireless connection.
Outcome or Value
With a new POS, Chevlas expanded its digital services between its restaurant and bar location in Brooklyn. Adopting a cloud-based POS reduces costs and allows restaurant owners and managers to easily manage orders and transactions for both locations.
Company or Business: Kaybamz Incorporated
Business Needs
Kaybamz Consulting an accounting and tax firm wanted to scale their services to other prospects including local businesses and organizations. To do this, Kaybamz opened a new office and hired new employees to help provide financial and tax services to their clients.

Kaybamz Office Build out and Pro-Series Implementation
Protech partnered with Kaybamz Incorporated to purchase new workstations, copiers and monitors for their new office setup for staff members. Protech also implemented Virtual Servers to host Active Directory authentication for their computers and applications, including Pro Series, which is Kaybamz’s digital accounting platform for their business.
Outcome or Value
Kaybamz’s new office setup allows walk-in clients to consult with accounts and leverage their accounting services. This helps increase their clientele. The upgraded infrastructure hosting and securing Pro Series containing client information allows Kaybamz to meet regulations to service local businesses and organizations more seamlessly.
Company or Business: Beverly Mack Harry Consulting
Business Needs
Beverly Mack Harry is a psychotherapy clinic that provides therapy services to clients within the community. Over the years BMH has been using Medi-Pro and Medi-Tracker hosted on in-house Servers for their clinical practice from Intake, treatments, billing, and other aspects of their clinical services. BMH wanted to scale its services and venture into telehealth to expand its clientele and services.

Medi-Pro Migration and Clinic Tracker Implementation
Protech partnered with BMH to adopt and implement a new cloud-based Electronic Health Record system, Clinic Tracker, that allows them to scale their clinical services digitally while expanding their telehealth services to remote clients.
Outcome or Value
BMH’s adoption of Clinic Tracker allows them to expand their services and retain more clients for their business. This also allows BMH to remotely onboard certified therapist and social workers across New York City that help expand their service offerings.
Company or Business: Flatbush Tompkins Congregational Church
Business Needs
Flatbush Tompkins Congregational Church is identified as a historical landmark in Brooklyn that provides various worshipping services to their community, including temporary houses, after-school sessions, seminars, group meetings, donation services, and venue services for events. Sometimes the church is rented by produce studios for various shows such as Law and Order or CSI.
Project
Protech Partnered with Flatbush Tompkins to install and update their security systems to align with their insurance policy with new cameras, alarms, and sensors. Protech also partnered with Flatbush Tompkins to update their Servers hosting their security system, Active Directory, Print Services, and QuickBooks.
Outcome or Value
With the upgrade of their new security system, Flatbush Tompkins protected and monitored their church more effectively as they opened their space to the community. The update of their Servers allowed Flatbush Tompkins to secure their church, host the cost applications, and backup their data.
Project
Flatbush Tompkins consulted Protech to build an Asset Management platform using SQL to capture and track their assets.
Outcome or Value
This new custom application allows Flatbush Tompkins to save money and track their assets for insurance and tax purposes.
Company or Business: Go2Nerds Incorporated
Business Needs
Go2Nerds is a Connecticut IT Services provider that resells and provides enterprise backup services to their clients in Connecticut. Go2Nerd goal was to expand their backup services and create redundancy to protect their client data while reducing their reseller cost.
Project
CrashPlan High-Speed Network and Enterprise Storage Cluster Implementation
Protech LLC partnered with Go2Nerds to build out their data storage farm and high-speed infrastructure to remotely back up and store their client’s data in-house. For redundancy, Protech replicated all backups to Amazon Web Services S3 Glacier storage for archiving.
Outcome or Value
Go2nerds reduces its reseller cost by providing subscription services to its clients and offsetting its licensing cost. With a new structure, Go2Nerds was able to expand its backup services while securing its client data.
